Lilies

I love lilies. All the different varieties and colors. They are all scattered in various beds in my yard. They’re low maintenance and come back every year. Which are two of my top priorities in the garden arena of my life.

As I was watering this week, God’s word reminded me that He cares for them. Matthew 7 reminds us of that. This part of the chapter is usually read as a reminder not to worry. But, as I looked at the lilies I realized how much God cares for us. These verses say that even King Solomon in all his splendor was not dressed like one of these!

God knows every intimate detail of your life down to the number of hairs on your head.(Matthew 10:30) If you are feeling alone or that no one cares what goes on in your life, remember the lilies! God sees you, cares for you and knows your every need. Seek Him today my friend.
