It’s that time of year when the birds start building their nests on my porch. I don’t always like the mess they leave but I do enjoy watching the process. Mother bird becomes so protective of her eggs and especially so when they hatch.
It reminded me of the above verse that sits on my desk at school. Psalm 91:4 “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” If you are feeling alone, downtrodden, fearful, etc., take heart. Our God is there. He will not disappoint or let you down. He cares and watches over you just like the mother bird.
