If you know who this women is, it probably says something about your age! I remember my grandmother watching “As the World Turns.” This is Eileen Fulton, who played the character of Lisa. Lisa was a character! She is the woman you loved to hate. Every week we wondered what the new drama would be.
Drama! We don’t have to watch the soaps for it to come into our lives. One of our teachers sent out an email last week with this quote from TobyMac. “Drama does not just walk into your life. Either you create it. Invite it. Or associate with it!”
How true! It’s all around us. Sometimes we can’t help it because someone we have in our life brings it in. But, too often we either go looking for it or we’re the one stirring the pot.
Drama is painful and hurtful. Why not do as we are commanded and think on the good things in life? Paul says in Philippians 4:8 – “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things!” He goes on to say in the next verse – “And the God of peace will be with you.”
