Power of One

We were studying David and Goliath today in bible class. This story never gets old to me. In fact, a new lesson comes out of it every time. I was reminded today about David’s child like faith. Everyone else around him looked down on him. The ones who should have been stronger in their faith all thought it could not be done. Saul, the king, thought it could only be done if you had the right attire. But not David! He knew that the power within him, God, could do anything!!

Are you feeling discouraged today? Do you know deep in your soul that God is with you? Do you believe that God can do anything, according to His will?  And yet, the giants are all around us telling us to give up, quit dreaming or use our own strength.

Don’t do it!! Believe that God is able. Remember Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us…”
