We were visiting our grandchildren in Indiana this weekend. While we were riding in the car Sid wanted to ask the older boys Bible questions. Then, they would try and stump him by asking what a particular verse says. So after several questions he asked, “Who was with Jesus when he walked on the water?” Our 3-year-old granddaughter does not like to be out done so she wanted to answer – her answer “God.”
Of course we all thought that was so cute. It wasn’t the answer he was looking for but we thought about it and it’s right. God was there.
It got me to thinking that all of my questions about life and my spiritual walk go back to God. He’s right in the middle of everything we do. Every situation and battle we face, He’s there. When you can’t find an answer, go to Him in prayer or search in His word to find what you’re looking for. James 1 tells us if we ask for wisdom, He will give it to us.
