Is it just me?

I have to ask. Is it just me or do these signs mean nothing anymore? Traveling along I-65, I feel like I’m in the Indianapolis 500. If you go the speed limit, you will be passed! What are these signs for? Did anyone say it’s the law??

Maybe I sound a little irate, it does bug me especially in highly populated areas. It’s scary and dangerous. There is a reason we have laws. They are there to protect us.

The same is true for God’s laws. They are there to protect us. They are not there to burden us or cause extra hardship. Following God is freedom. James 1:25 says, ” But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it- not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it – they will be blessed in what they do.”
