Metamorphis

I have tried to run,

to hide, be someone else –

escape.

Times when I felt no

one cared

or dare

share in my shame.

Yet, His hand came down-

wiping it all away

making me new,

clean, blameless

and pure.

Beautiful!

Opening my eyes to

what He alone can do.

Opening my heart

to let others share my hurt.

Opening my mind

to thoughts of only Him.

My passion, my hope,

my tomorrow,

my Lord and my God.
