I enjoy my coffee. Actually, let me rephrase that—I really enjoy my coffee. Most people who know me have figured this out by now.
But here’s the thing: I don’t consider myself a coffee snob. I’m not loyal to any particular brand, and I’m definitely not one of those people who thinks you have to drink it black to be a “real” coffee drinker. Oh no, not me. Give me a little sweetener and a little cream, and I’m a happy camper.
My grandmother? Now she took it to another level. That woman had a little coffee with her sugar—and I mean a lot of sugar. We’d watch her add one scoop, then another, then another. We couldn’t help but laugh every time.
Coffee has really evolved over the years, hasn’t it? There’s a coffee shop on every corner now, and the flavor options are endless. Caramel this, pumpkin spice that, vanilla everything.
But for me, coffee is more than just a beverage. It’s my jump-start in the morning. It’s what warms me up when I’m cold. It’s an excuse to sit down with a friend and catch up. And best of all? It’s the perfect companion for those quiet mornings when I settle in with my Bible and a good study.
Coffee is a gift to be savored—one delicious sip at a time.

Your post almost makes me want to sit down with a cuppa too.
Even though I’m not a coffee drinker, I do love the aroma.

I love coffee but never drink it black, I need a flavored creamer (or cream and sugar to cut the bitterness).

I hear you. This will sound odd, but I add a little salt to my coffee and it cuts some of the bitter tasts.
