This was the result of part of my Thanksgiving baking. As you can see, I probably won’t be starting a blog!
The results weren’t terrible. But, I left both of these items in the oven about 5 minutes too long. Thus, a little more brown than usual. I’m hoping they’ll be eatable.
I’m choosing to give myself a little grace about this.
We live in such a result driven society. I’m not saying that results are not important. We all should try to do our very best. But, I know all too well how not having the desired results can freeze us from moving forward. They can cause us to quit. To give up. To pout. To lash out.
Here’s the thing!!! WE ARE NOT IN CONTROL. No matter how hard we try…something can always go wrong.
So, today give yourself and others a little grace. That perfect family turkey might not be perfect. That homemade dressing might not taste like your mom’s. If you woke up today. It’s ok.
Blessings to you all on this Thanksgiving Day!
